Took me over a two years and went through several deadlines but its on the road and cruising. Ive done the Riviera Run 2002 and it ran faultlessly there and back (see top picture for proof). Ive got a 1380 with a 296 cam and a few other bits and bobs to slot in, will it never end. Hang on a minute lads i got an idea put the 1380 in the boot slapping on a turbo and add nitrous :-)
Only 4 days to go until the Riviera Run and the mini is still one piece, was overheating the other week but sorted that out by removing the centre bit of the thermostat and fitting a metro header tank so its now on a closed system so no more little puddles on the floor when I park up. Ive also replace the gaz coil-overs on the rear with original hi-los and rubber cones and it sits alot lower.... which is nice! |
