Twin tanks, Hi Lo\\\\\\\'s , negative camber all round, adjustable tie rods, gas dampers, 4 pot callipers and vented discs to stop the wee beastie with new minifins at the rear. Inside there is an aluminium dash, quick shift, Sony 10 stack CD player. Recently fitted a Wood and Picket Central Locking kit. That was the easy bit. Getting it to work with the alarm link box was a nightmare. The instructions do not match the wiring in the car and I think I damaged the immobiliser. But a nice mechanic sorted it out by resetting it on the Testbook computer. Have recently fitted Playmini DTM. Very loud now. Had to shoehorn a 10\\\\\\\" sub into rear parcel shelf and amp in the boot to drown out the sound. New show season soon to start, so out with the polish again. |

I have had my mini from new as a company car. I then bought it off the company quite cheaply (very cunning) It is now nearly 9 years old but has done 70,000 miles and since its rebuild is a little flyer. After taking it to Castle Coombe I have got the go faster bug. Next projects during the winter, now that I have a garage, are to install a new headlining (black). MPIs dont like MOT emission tests. |
